Colorado Springs Apts nearly lost a kid last week, literally.
An article in the The Gazette reported that a toddler fell from a 3rd-floor apartment window, but is doing okay.
Apparently, the kid leaned against the screen in a bedroom window while his parents were busy painting another room.
There are lessons here for everyone involved . . .
Apartment managers: Regularly inspect screens and make sure they’re installed correctly.
Parents: Regardless of the safety measures in place in your apartment, keep an eye on your kids.
